1. Temperature Blanket
The Temperature Blanket is the most well-known project for a new year. It consists of recording daily temperatures throughout the year and translating them into colors. You choose a palette that represents different temperature ranges (for example, warm tones for warm days and cool tones for cool days). Work one line or square per day and see how the weather shapes your project throughout the year.
But here’s a tip. You can also choose to record a different time period instead of the typical year. For example, the temperatures of your first year of life.
2. Emotions Blanket
Transform your daily feelings into dots and colors. You choose a color for each emotion (happiness, calm, anxiety, enthusiasm, etc.) and a specific dot for special days. At the end of the year, you will have a blanket that tells your emotional story for 365 days.
3. Goals Chart
Track your progress toward your goals throughout the year using colors. Here, you can use between two or more colors.
